MICHAEL MYERS IS BACK...AGAIN...AGAIN
It’s the year 2038 and Michael Myers has returned to Haddonfield once again to finish what he started 60 years ago. Now at the ripe age of 81 the man once known as the “SHAPE” is out of shape, but is somehow still feared by all.
Watch as he faces off against Laurie Strode, one last time…again…maybe, in this shot for shot recreation of the 2018 Halloween trailer.

The H40 Convention was presented by Trancas International Films and HorrorHound Weekend (an offshoot of HorrorHound Magazine) on October 12-14, 2018 at the Pasadena Convention Center.
To date, it was the largest gathering of it’s kind featuring the filmmakers of every film in the franchise along with the better part of the cast that has been accumulating over the 10 film, 40 year span.
Our very own Michael and Jason Leavy were VIP guests (remember Abnormal Attraction debuted to the public at the HorrorHound Film Festival in Cincinnati). Aside from the excitement of being huge fans of the franchise themselves, they were delighted to discover that the recently released Halloween 60 was beginning to go viral and had already been seen by the cast & crew of it’s inspiration Halloween (2018). Everyone had to stop and pose with our completely custom, one-of-a-kind “Old Man Myers Mask,” including writer/director David Gordon Green, Nick Castle & James Jude Courtney (Michael Myers of the past and present), Rhian Rees (Halloween 2018), Scout Taylor Compton & Leslie Easterbrook (Rob Zombie’s Halloween), Tamara Glynn (Halloween 5) and even producer Malek Akkad (the owner of the franchise who jokingly threatened to sue in order to keep us from stealing their thunder).

THE LEGACY OF MICHAEL MYERS
Entirely created within a 1 month time frame, from conception and pre-production through filming and post production, for the official HalloweenMovies.com film festival. It was one of 23 selected out of a large pool of talented film-makers and although legal technicalities didn’t allow the festival to conclude in the way it was planned to, after speaking with the organizers like Malek Akkad (son of Moustapha Akkad, the original producer of Halloween) and seeing Halloween Awakening had the most views and best ratings in the competition, it was announced the de-facto WINNER.Â
Halloween Awakening is our imaging of the ninth installment in the original storied Halloween franchise. It is a direct sequel to Halloween Resurrection and is not a remake or related to Rob Zombie’s ideas of Halloween; it instead is based on John Carpenter’s original vision. It does not overlook any aspects of the eight preceding films; it instead purposefully incorporates ideas from all of them in order to create one fluent and connected Halloween franchise as opposed to two separate stories about the same character.
Halloween Awakening keeps the traditional feel of the original Halloween and moves it forward for a modern audience. When it is all said and done Halloween Awakening connects two diverging storylines within the franchise and combines them into one coherent legacy of Michael Myers.
**** WE DO NO OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE CHARACTER MICHAEL MYERS or THE NAME HALLOWEEN, THEY BELONG TO THEIR RESPECTFUL OWNERS. THIS IS STRICTLY A FAN FILM NOT MADE FOR PROFIT. ****
