For his entire life, Steven has had a fascination with pictures. This fascination evolved into a more skillful approach to photography and the realization that the ultimate form of a picture is a motion picture. A simple Christmas present of a camcorder kicked off Steven’s career. Making home movies with his cousins and basically just filming anything that was going on progressed into the formation of Fuzz on the Lens Productions.
Steve was raised to understand that family comes first, and he still believes that today. This thought overflows into business with co-workers and clients being welcomed to into what has come to be known as the Fuzz Family.
Whether on set or off, behind the camera or even in front of it, Steve contributes in every way possible. He prides himself on being a perfectionist and does not believe in stopping until the job is done and done right. This is no better demonstrated than by the fact that Steven has both had his nose broken on set and gotten into a car accident prior to shooting a scene and continued with production on both occasions.
Whatever the project may be, from script to screen, creative or technical, Steve will be there to see it through and in the rare occasion he’s not working he’s probably gathering photos and shot glasses from around the world (his collection has grown to around 300 so far) and if he’s home you’ll find him itching for a sport to compete in or rooting on his beloved New York Mets or Dallas Cowboys.

To put it simply, Michael Leavy was born a filmmaker. Ever since he learned what a movie was he has dreamed of making them. Fortunately, it didn’t take long for that dream to become a reality. Michael started acting and directing at an early age, even teaching himself how to edit. From the early days of using a paper-towel roll to scroll credits, all the way through mastering Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere, his passion has never left. Michael almost single-handedly ran his high school’s television studio; anchoring the show each morning and creating more skits and short films than anyone else in the studio’s history.
Michael then went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree from St. John’s University and also took graduate courses at Kean University to further his knowledge.
After school, Michael stepped directly into the global spotlight thanks to his role in orchestrating the viral sensation known as the “Staten Island Clown.” Beyond that, Michael has directed many short films, commercials and music videos leading up to his feature debut, “Abnormal Attraction”, the comedy/fantasy starring silver screen icons such as Malcolm McDowell, Gilbert Gottfried and Academy Award nominee Bruce Davison.
Outside the entertainment world Mike enjoys adding to his collection of ‘Leprechauns’ and playing football with his childhood friends, all while rooting for his favorite team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also continues a family tradition along with his brother Jason of creating a huge Halloween display for their neighborhood, which was originally started by their mother and grandfather and has gotten national attention throughout the years.

Dubbed the “King of Improv,” talented character actor, voice-over artist and producer, Jason Leavy also plays a large role in rounding out the Fuzz on the Lens Production team. The path he has taken to get to this point has been very similar to that of his older brother Michael Leavy. Jason has been at his brother’s side from the beginning and will be till the end.
Jason was Michael’s successor at Monsignor Farrell’s television studio, WFBN-TV. He ran the studio and anchored the show each morning. Once he graduated, Jason went on to Kean University where he studied to get his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a concentration in Television & Film.
Any team Jason is on instantly gains limitless potential thanks to Jason’s creativity, dedication to his craft and his willingness to do anything necessary to better the project. Jason excels in front of the camera, because of this talent Jason has a unique approach to filmmaking that allows him see things behind the camera that others may not. He brings a different character driven perspective that is necessary to push creativity and writing to a new level.
When Jason is not developing another character he and his brother are most likely focusing on their Halloween display which has garnered national attention. Jason is also such a fan of his uncle’s former team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, that he enjoys researching an off-season acquisition or potential draft pick almost as much as an actual win.
“The most enjoyable thing in life is hearing a laugh, when people are laughing together the whole world is just a better place.” – Jason Leavy

An actor, writer and all around entertainer with an aptitude for comedy, Kyle Mullins just wants to make people laugh. Kyle first met Michael Leavy in 2008 at St. John’s University in their first Television and Film class, they became fast friends as an immediate connection was made, so they decided to team up and combine their resources and talents. Kyle joined the team and helped create and really round out Fuzz on the Lens in 2011.
Taking a step back, Kyle started telling jokes in front of live audiences at the age of 7 with the help of his older brother. Improv and stand-up comedy are just some of the skills in his repertoire.
Kyle has also performed in a multitude of sketches and films, some of which he has written himself. His first notable comedic success with the team came from his breakout role as “McGinn,” a moronic but lovable college student in a supernatural student film entitled “Prey, Love, Eat.” More recently, Kyle can be seen in Abnormal Attraction as “Jamie.” Kyle aspires to write, create and entertain, whether it comes in the form of scripts or comedic punchlines. He dreams of ultimately following in the footsteps of similar friend-based filmmaking teams such as Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions.
Outside of filmmaking, Kyle enjoys playing competitive sports, biking and snowboarding. He likes spending his free time practicing other forms of art, like drawing and painting. Kyle is also an avid gamer and has considered combining his passions to create video game related content.

A story teller with an imagination that always runs free, Robert Privitera’s passion resides in all facets of creative writing. His film career first began in his young teens, when he met Kyle Mullins. Together, they would film things for each other’s amusement, unknowingly creating both a bond and a common goal of spreading laughter and thought provoking ideas.
In 2014, during the “Staten Island Clown” mayhem, Rob joined Fuzz on the Lens, a group of fellow entertainers he now considers family. Since joining the team, Rob has written various projects of all genres.
His first script that was turned into a short film was Covering the Spread. It was quickly followed up with Mixed Messages, which was voted “Audience Favorite“ at the Campus Moviefest propelling it all the way to the finals at Universal Studios.
Rob has also dabbled in the world of stand-up comedy, performing all around New York City and even a club down in Atlanta, Georgia while the company was producing the feature Penance Lane.
His most important take away from filmmaking, has been all the opportunities it has given him to learn and grow through both travel and the unique individuals he’s met along the way. When Rob is not writing he is drawing or painting as another form of expression. Music is also very important to him because it inspires and fuels his passion. Aside from the arts he enjoys being outdoors & reading. He hopes to one day weave together both his love for drawing and storytelling, by tackling animation.
